Once all the men, women, children, animals, baggage, camping stuff and tabernacle equipment were across, it was time for the ark of the covenant and some VERY relieved priests to get to the other side.

After the WHOLE of the Isrealite nation had crossed the Jordan, Joshua sent 12 men back into the river. How would you have felt if you were one of the chosen 12?
In verse 19 it talks of the 10th day of the 1st month. What is the significance of this?
The setting of the stones was to act as a reminder of this event. Why was this important/necessary? What effect would this memorial have on the Isrealites? Canaanites?
